“The Mission of West Side Professionals is to establish a specialty Toastmaster’s Club for people who speak or aspire to speak for a living as a professional speaker, or someone who uses their speaking skills as integrated part of their work or other community endeavors.
To build a club that specializes in supporting the professional development of members who speak or aspire to speak for a living as a professional speaker, or as a professional who works as a manager, an internal or external consultant, a trainer, an educator, a marketer or salesperson.
WSP’s educational program focuses on members helping memebers develop their professional speaking skills. WSP has created a learning community by bringing in professional guest speakers, and by providing Educational Workshops on professional speaking, At WSP we also encourage members to share best practices, and to provide each other with high performance evaluations. All speeches are digitally recorded and we will soon be video taping all speeches as well. This attention to professional development is what WSP is all about.
